their great work.

We received a glowing report from Curious Minds which you can read below:

Congratulations – your school has achieved an SFI Curious Minds Award. We have evaluated your Log of Evidence and we are satisfied that you have met all the criteria for the Gold Award.
Your school has provided evidence of children’s engagement with STEM in the following areas:

  1. Science
  2. Technology
  3. Engineering
  4. Maths
  5. STEM Showcase

Here is some feedback on your Log of Evidence:

Congratulations on your excellent Curious Minds Gold award! It was wonderful to see the whole-school involvement in the STEM activities, especially the Maths Trail and the Maths Week games. There was a fantastic amount of work carried out by all the classes and great examples of Technology experiments – creating the code for the Whack a Mole game was impressive, and the Tech Week car-racing looked like fun. It was lovely to see the 6th Class helping the younger learners with activities. Great to see the Green School Committee at work too.
Well done! Keep up the good work!
