Congratulations to our school’s senior chess players who participated in the Féile Fichille Tournament in St Laurence’s School, Crookstown on Friday 2nd February. On what was a tremendous day of chess 160 children from the South KIldare/Wicklow area had great fun and competition. It is wonderful to see how the game has embedded itself in the our school and the progress that our students are making.
Finally, a word of thanks to Mr Dunney for the time and effort he puts into preparing our pupils and teaching them the game.
