School Garden

13th September 2024

Last May children from second class and the nurture room along with their teachers decided to grow some vegetables in our school polytunnel. After many weeks of weeding, watering and feeding our plants we have now started to harvest some of our produce. We grew tomatoes, bell peppers and scallions which are fully ripe now and are waiting on corn on the cob and french beans. As you can see from our photos we definitely have some budding gardeners in the making.

A big thank you to Ms Walsh and her pupils who have been checking in on the garden regularly.
