Last Friday, we celebrated another wonderful year of sporting achievements in the school. We were joined by Athy and Kildare footballer Kevin Feely to recognise the amazing achievements of our pupils in sports such as football, camogie, soccer, basketball and athletics. Pride of Athy Table Quiz On Thursday 2nd May Scoil Phádraig Naofa hosted our local ‘Pride of Athy’ Table Quiz. 44 boys and girls from 5th and 6th class participated in cycle safety training on Thursday 26th May. Garda O’Mahony and Garda Davern delivered an engaging and at times challenging training course. In the process, 991 Euro was raised for Pieta in support of the wonderful work they do in providing Mental Health services around Ireland. Ms Hayden’s 1st Class, Mr Drummy’s 2nd Class and Ms Foy’s 6th Class recently travelled to Castlecomer Discovery Park to take part in the Discover Primary Science & Maths Programme.
